I dream of travel
I went to Toulouse and I dream about it. I loved the town. There was one special big building - it was a beautiful cathedral and it was made of brilliant red brick. There was lots of sky, and views... and every morning I'd sit outside cos it was too hot. We were staying in a hotel which was quite big and it had a swimming-pool. Sometimes I'd swim and sometimes I'd just sit there ... enjoy the sun. That was three years ago. I've been in here (hospital) for two months. I'm inside. I'm locked up. I feel like I'm in prison. I can't do what I like doing, going out with friends, enjoying life. I like listening to music. Hip hop, R and B, but here I usually listen to classical.
That afternoon we went to Sudbourne Primary School in Brixton and told Class 5 about the young boy we had just met who was on the ward at the children's hospital. His story prompted several questions, "will he be able to play football again? Will he go home soon? What is there for him to do at hospital. Over the next few weeks several messages were posted for him.

Geospin's story
I've been to Toulouse when I was three. Now I'm just stuck inside the classroom and in home. I hope you get well soon

stuckness
Being stuck in the classroom is not the same feeling as being stuck in hospital. You've got your friends in school but not in hospital

It must be really boring being in hospital. I have had the experience but for only one night. It must be really painful. You must be going through a lot I hope you get better soon

10 March
We met Geospin and suggested that the essence of the story he wrote about Toulouse was his dreams of traveling and his hopes for the future.
He wrote the following lines:
Hope will always give me my future
My dreams of traveling
Dreams are real
All you have to do is believe
